Beginners Latin

This class is a beginners course to Latin for children in First and Second grades who show interest and ability in learning this language. Children will be taught by expert Latin scholar Michael Osei, and basic grammar, vocabulary will be covered along with Roman history. This class is an excellent foundation for children in not only Romance languages but also English, and perhaps as importantly will help children begin to decode and understand the systems at play for learning anything complex with a variety of interacting rules and conditions. Mr. Osei brings so much joy and enthusiasm to this language that children will begin to understand the beauty of unlocking an older civilization's way of understanding the world around them.
