Participants must currently be in pre-kindergarten grade or higher.
This is a perfect class for children who love writing and want to deepen their craft over the summer. We will work on stories, poems and talk about different styles of writing. We will also introduce students to writing competitions that they can pursue over the course of the year so they can continue their passion outside of the camp.
Students will be grouped by age so younger children can focus on writing in different areas. Younger students can work on handwriting, phonics, storytelling and be exposed to new authors. Younger children will also work on their own stories and learn how to act out stories that we select during the camp.
