Drama and Spanish for Elementary School Age Children

Students in this class engage in skits, games and learn about Spanish folktales and myths. Spanish vocabulary and conversation is enhanced with the goal that children develop an ear for and love of Spanish while advancing their ability to use Spanish in context. Young children are not ideal audiences for a traditional sit-down language learning experience, but they love games and are excellent at picking up languages, so this course capitalizes on these two characteristics of young learners to help them develop both.
